Privacy Policy — Creator Collab

This policy explains what Creator Collab ("we", "us", the "app") collects, why, and what you can do about it. Creator Collab is operated from Australia. By using the app you agree to this policy.

The short version: we collect the profile and account data you give us, plus the data we need to run the core features (discovery, messaging, shoot planning). We do not sell your personal data. You can delete your account at any time.

1. Information we collect

You give us

Account details — email address, and a one-time code sent to that email to verify it.
Profile information — name, bio, avatar, creator type, training types, equipment, capabilities, and portfolio or moodboard images you upload.
Location — the city or region you set, used to surface collaborators near you. You control this and can change or remove it.
Content — messages, connection requests, groups, shoot plans, cost-split details, and brand briefs you create or send.

Collected automatically

Usage and device data — basic app interaction and device information used to keep the app working, secure, and stable.
Crash and diagnostic data — to find and fix problems.

2. How we use your information

To create and run your account and profile.
To power discovery, connections, messaging, groups, and shoot planning.
To generate AI assistance (outreach openers, shot/prop/set lists, moodboards) from the inputs you provide. You review AI suggestions before they are sent.
To route supplement shop links to the right region and offer.
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

3. How information is shared

Your profile (name, bio, avatar, creator type, location region, capabilities, portfolio) is visible to other users so they can find and connect with you. Messages are shared with the people in that conversation or group. We do not sell your personal data or share it for third-party advertising.

We use trusted service providers to operate the app:

Supabase — hosting, database, authentication, and storage.
Anthropic (Claude) — generates the AI features. The inputs you submit for an AI task are sent to Anthropic to produce the result.
Apple TestFlight — beta distribution and crash reporting during the beta.
Shopify / ONEST Health — the in-app supplements shop deep-links to an external store; purchases happen there under that store's own policy.

4. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data, except where we must keep it to meet legal, security, or fraud-prevention obligations.

5. Your choices and rights

Access and update — edit your profile and account details in the app at any time.
Delete — delete your account to remove your personal data.
Location — change or clear your location region whenever you like.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (access, correction, deletion, portability). Contact us to exercise them.

6. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access to user data is restricted by row-level security. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Children

Creator Collab is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, in the app.
